At the edge of our solar system drifts a lonely dwarf planet, and upon it dwells something ancient. The universe is vast and dangerous. Our solar system is young and small. But we are not alone — and those who watch us believe we can become strong enough to face what lies among the stars.
The Age of Pisces is ending. The Age of Aquarius is dawning — an era of awakening, innovation, and individual enlightenment. The Academy exists to forge souls strong enough to survive this cosmic transition.

Eris
The Discord — Goddess of Chaos
At the edge of our solar system drifts a lonely dwarf planet, and upon it dwells something ancient. Eris is not malevolent — she is the cosmic force of growth through challenge, the discord that prevents stagnation, the chaos that makes evolution possible.
She watches our solar system with something like love, knowing that one day her children must be strong enough to face what lies beyond the stars.

The Empress
III — The First Ascended
She was the first. A mortal sorceress who projected her astral form farther than any before — past Mars, past Jupiter, past Neptune — until she touched the surface of Eris itself. In that communion with chaos, she achieved self-actualization and became something more.
Now she guides others along the same path, headmistress of an Academy dedicated to strengthening the souls of our solar system for the challenges that await among the stars.

Dysnomia
The Discontented Moon — Daughter of Discord
Orbiting Eris is her daughter — Dysnomia, named for the ancient personification of lawlessness. She is one of the darkest objects in our solar system, absorbing nearly all light that touches her surface. Where Eris represents necessary discord, Dysnomia embodies bitter discontent.
Born divine, she watches with jealousy as mortals achieve what she was simply given. The Major Arcana earned their transcendence through struggle. Dysnomia was merely born with power — and so she has no story, no journey, no triumph. Only endless comparison.

The Academy
The Empress founded the Academy with a singular purpose: to forge souls strong enough to venture beyond our solar system and face whatever waits in the vastness of the Milky Way. Through the crucible of astral combat, students walk the path toward self-actualization.
Twenty-one have followed The Empress and completed this journey, each embodying a different archetypal truth. They are the Major Arcana — not gods, but mortals who transcended their limitations. You stand at the beginning of the same path they once walked.
